ᐅ Sealing the toilet drain connection

The drain of my toilet, more precisely the drain opening in the wall, is positioned slightly too high for the toilet’s connecting piece. As a result, the rubber seal cannot create a completely tight connection. Over time, it gradually slips out of place and water leaks. This is, of course, very annoying. How can I finally make the connection watertight?

I think so too, and this is really a big mess. But I saw a flexible hose like that at Obi hardware store. That should make it leak-proof.
