tomtom79Has anyone ever used a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery to distribute room fragrances? What should be considered to ensure the scent is not overpowering? Do the ducts suffer any damage from the fragrance oils?
In my opinion, this is fairly common in show homes.

In my opinion, it is just like that in the model homes....and I found that really awful. I had to leave because it triggered my coughing. I feel sorry for the people who have to work in such rooms. All artificial fragrances are strong chemicals. Wherever possible, these should simply be avoided... so no air fresheners, scented candles, perfume, laundry scent, room sprays, etc. Spare yourself and your family. Best regards, Steffi.
Sure, if you have such problems that you prefer not to, but I, or we, do not have that. That’s why I’m looking for information abroad; every hotel and every shop there is flooded with it—some smell strong, others smell fine. So yes, my question is: who has experience with what is normal and what is acceptable?

Why would someone want that? Showering helps, or possibly a scented candle and deodorant.A scented candle only covers a limited area, deodorant is basically the same. And thanks, I had forgotten about showering...In hotels, misting is usually done locally rather than through the ventilation system. Or misting devices are installed within the ventilation system. I think the consumption will be very high since the air is constantly exchanged. For example, take a look at reima-airconcept.
