ᐅ Question about integrating roof windows with Somfy systems?

Hello community,

I have two Roto roof windows, model “R 89 G.”

My regular windows are equipped with “Somfy RS 100.” My window installer says that an intermediate piece (actuator?) needs to be installed by the electrician. I want to be able to control these with the “Somfy Tahoma” as well.

However, he isn’t exactly sure either. What exactly could he mean by this, so I can explain it to my electrician?

What exactly is the Roto R89G supposed to do? Provide shading, open, and close?
What conditions has the window installer actually met?
