Hello,

we have received several quotes from prefab home manufacturers. I have compared them as thoroughly as a layperson can. The manufacturers build with similar quality, and their prices generally vary by about ±20,000€.

We would like to have the quote from the manufacturer we are considering reviewed. I would also like to add small extras such as network connections in every room, more power outlets, and fireplace installations. Otherwise, the specifications meet our expectations. We do not want or plan to contribute much in terms of personal labor.

Should I have the offer reviewed first and then negotiate, or should I negotiate beforehand?

Thank you.

About 4% is usually offered voluntarily. Either as an immediate discount or with a kitchen included for free. Although the kitchen prices tend to be typical inflated prices, similar to a furniture store but without the 60% discount.

Make sure to get the individual prices for your custom requests as options from all suppliers in advance; otherwise, negotiations won’t be effective.

If they immediately offer a 4% discount, you can often negotiate an additional 4% if you handle it skillfully. After all, they have already made some investments.
