ᐅ Preparing for Future Photovoltaic Installation?

For my new build, I am not planning a photovoltaic system initially, but I want to keep the option open for the future as much as possible.

Which cables should be installed from the meter cabinet to the roof so that a photovoltaic system can be retrofitted later as easily and cost-effectively as possible? How many cables? What cross-sections? How much space should be allowed for in the meter cabinet?

I would heat the shed or at least keep it frost-free.

As mentioned, that’s not necessary at all. They are designed for outdoor use. Take a look at a datasheet.

Okay, I'll take a look at the more well-known manufacturers.

That depends on your purchase price. More than 1200€ per kWp net is excessive, even for small systems. For comparison: our offer is at 900€/kWp all inclusive with branded components.
Hi,

may I ask where you got the offer? My quote is for 8.58 kWp for 11,000€

Is there a local supplier here? They will not deliver or install in NRW. However, we ultimately hired our electrician for a slightly higher price because the Chinese modules were unavailable due to the coronavirus, and we did not want to wait given decreasing feed-in tariffs and subsidy limits. As a result, we now have more than 28 kWp LG modules on the roof, and the meter is running.

With that system size, you also get good prices. Systems under 10kWp often still sell for over €1,200 (approximately $1,300), so the offer from @Piotr1981 isn’t bad at all (without knowing the components). Although it could definitely be cheaper by about €100 (approximately $110).
