Once the house is built, things can get a bit boring quickly...
Therefore – and because of the current weather – I’m thinking about getting a pool.
Are there any pool owners here in the forum? Could you share some advice? I’m trying to put together a list of questions.
What type of pool do I want? Fiberglass shell
How big? About 8 by 3 by 1.5 m (26 by 10 by 5 ft)
In-ground or above ground? In-ground
What’s my budget? 15,000 + own labor + earthworks
Special features? Retrofit counter-current system. Walk-on cover (up to 50 kg (110 lbs)).
Heating? Not for now.
Here are some questions I have:
Where can I find something affordable?
Is my budget realistic?
Are Polish companies reliable and really cheaper?
How much did your pool and equipment cost?
What are the maintenance costs?
Are there differences in filter technology?
Do I need a concrete slab base?
What experiences have you had with pool contractors?
Maybe more questions will come up during the (hopefully lively) discussion. But this should be more than enough to start.
