Hello everyone,
We are currently planning a possible terrace roof and are wondering how loud a polycarbonate cover gets in comparison to glass during rain.
Our living room is directly adjacent to the terrace – the children's bedroom is just above it – and our bedroom is two floors above that.
Does anyone have a meaningful answer?

What is your budget? It also depends on functionality and comfort. Where do you want to save, and what is absolutely necessary? A width of 6 meters (20 feet) costs more than the standard width of 4 meters (13 feet).
And would you have to open and close them manually? All 7…
We bought from Schweng, including the package with lighting and awning. He was the cheapest… solid work with a satisfaction guarantee 🙂
… I’m just checking: unfortunately, he no longer has price offers on the website 🙁Today we ordered the 6 x 3.5 meters (20 x 12 feet) with clear laminated safety glass (VSG) from EMW, including 2 LED sets and installation, for €5150. No one currently matches that price. We will look into shading options only after the canopy is installed.
KD canopy for the same size with the 20% discount promotion in February was €6600 — it is definitely more expensive now.
