TobibiHello everyone,
We have finally signed and are now homeowners!
Now a few other questions are starting to come up that we need to take care of.
The notary and the real estate agent advised us to consult a tax advisor regarding the photovoltaic system (both for self-consumption with battery storage and feeding surplus electricity into the grid). We will do that. But is there any guide or checklist about what we need to know and what has to be done? For example, I know I have to register with the grid operator, but I don’t fully understand everything yet.
Best regards,
Tobi

Registering a business with the local municipality (chances are high they might laugh at you, but you have to try)
Registering a business with the tax office (if the purchase price of the photovoltaic system is not listed separately from the house price, you can register as a small business)
Get the comprehensive WISO tax software for business; it includes everything you need.
The battery storage and photovoltaic system still need to be registered with the grid operator and the Federal Network Agency, but the solar installer who built the photovoltaic system will likely help you with that. Check if there is a sticker from them on the system in the basement.
