We are planning to create a paved area in front of our house.
Question: How much do professionals typically charge on average per square meter (square yard) just for the labor? Does it depend on the type of paving (natural stone slabs or square pavers)?
If anyone has experience with this, I would be very grateful, as I have no idea :S

I have this work coming up as well. I recently visited the company Guber, and they have a good selection of paving stones. They also operate their own quarry. The price starts at around 690 CHF per ton. With that, I can cover about 10.5 sqm (113 sq ft). This results in a price of 3.95 per sqm (0.37 per sq ft). Thank you for your tip. I will also start laying the stones on our driveway next month. The price from Gruber is reasonable, and I will place my order there.
User Urs1988 also mentioned that these pavers are of good quality and easy to lay. I intend to handle the installation myself as well.
