I hope this topic fits here.
I would like to know how you have handled this.
How far does the curtain/drape extend on the wall to the left and right of the terrace door opening? In other words, how much of the wall is covered? I hope you understand what I mean.
Thank you very much!

Something similar to beintomrom's setup in our case as well. The only difference is that we didn’t screw the curtain rail directly under the ceiling; instead, we installed white rods from Ikea a bit lower, mounted about the width of a CD jewel case above the lintel. Without fabric on the walls, it felt too cold and the sound inside the house was too echoey. Now it’s much nicer. We have curry-yellow cotton crinkle curtains; they are thin, allowing plenty of light to pass through.
We also have about 15-20 cm (6-8 inches), with all the rods installed on the ceiling and arranged asymmetrically. One side is 15 cm (6 inches), the other 40 cm (16 inches).
So when the curtains are open, they are all pulled to one side. This arrangement came about due to the interior design.
