Dear forum members,

In our new build, we ended up with a fresh water station installed without fully wanting it. So my question is similar to the one from the previous poster...

In short: when I take a shower, I almost scald myself and freeze at the same time! That’s quite an achievement! Most of the time, the water is unfortunately too cold... by the way, this also happens even when no water is being used elsewhere.

Is it possible that our plumbing expert set something up incorrectly? Do you have any tips for a solution?

I would be very grateful!

Best regards
Tita

Quite likely yes. Fresh water has nothing to do with incorrect temperature settings.
Does this happen with all fittings? It’s possible that a mixer valve is faulty.
Or is everything modern and very compactly sized, and someone else is flushing...

Thank you for your response!
Yes, this also happens with other fittings, but it seems less noticeable in the kitchen than in the shower or bathtub. Of course, it is more noticeable there...
As mentioned, this is regardless of whether someone is using water elsewhere in the house or not.

I will probably contact our builder again. Hopefully, I will have some success.

Thank you very much in advance!

Best regards, Tita
