Hello everyone,
I’m currently facing the following issue:
For the Besta cabinet with the Främsta back panel, there is only one original TV mount available, which hooks onto the rails. Unfortunately, this mount neither swivels nor tilts.
However, I definitely need a TV mount that can both swivel and tilt. Has anyone else had the same problem and successfully found a solution?
I have already considered buying the Främsta mount and using only its mounting brackets for the rails, in order to attach a third-party mount to them. The question is whether the two upper mounting brackets alone would be sufficient or if I also definitely need the two lower ones.
Best regards,
Daniel

I have also considered this problem and thought about mounting the external bracket onto the vertical supports of the Framsta bracket. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether the Framsta rails can handle it, since the forces on the rail increase with the distance of the TV from the wall (lever effect).
