ᐅ IKEA PAX wardrobe, 2 meters wide, missing sliding door tracks

Hello,

here is my problem:

I bought Pax Heimdal sliding doors on eBay, but unfortunately the doors are 2 meters (6 ft 7 in) long while the top and bottom tracks are only 1.5 meters (5 ft) long. So they don’t fit. OK. I just went to Ikea in Essen and was told that these tracks are not sold separately and that you basically have to buy everything new. This can’t be true—having to buy completely new parts just because of two small tracks.

Now my questions:

1.) Is that correct? Can these tracks not be purchased individually?
2.) Does anyone have these tracks and want to sell them?
3.) Where could such parts be obtained if needed?

I would be VERY GRATEFUL for any help......

It doesn’t look good. You could try checking the clearance section. Or ask the staff there. Or inquire with the department if they might be remodeling soon and replacing a set of tracks, meaning installing new doors.
Sorry, but that’s really unfortunate...
Otherwise, your only option is to make it yourself, which is difficult.

there is still a very small glimmer of hope.

If you received the user manual, please have a look there or, if not, visit the bedroom department in your home improvement store—they can also check it for you. The manual includes a list of accessories. All individual parts should have numbers. If the rail you are looking for has a number there, you can reorder it through customer service, although you will have to pay for it at least. Otherwise, you can only try the options already mentioned above.
