Hello everyone,

Our black stove requires a negative pressure monitor for the chimney, which is needed because of the air-to-air heat pump heating system. The chimney sweep wrote the following to me: I don’t have a specific negative pressure monitor in mind. What’s important is that the exhaust fan automatically switches off when a negative pressure of 4 pascals is reached.

We have already planned a connection to the chimney. See the attached picture.

Now my question is, which one do I need.

The system is a Proxon from Zimmermann.
Our electrician can install it, but I am supposed to purchase the monitor.

Thanks in advance and best regards

Yes, that came from the chimney specialist. I told him that this was not required for the heating system in several new houses in the development (managed by another chimney specialist). Apparently, that was completely incorrect, but he checked and showed me the form, and then accepted it. All’s well that ends well. Good luck to you all.
