I have also had discussions with a company like that before.
On one hand, it is their attempt to build more trust through external inspections while still offering everything from a single source.
Since it involves TÜV, you can generally assume independence.
On the other hand, the company probably knows the TÜV inspector personally, and they are on a first-name basis.
If the inspector does their job properly, they should still remain objective (at least in theory).
Ultimately, I think it also depends on the individual person involved.
My gut feeling is that I wouldn’t consider an additional expert necessary. However, I would clarify whether this TÜV inspection qualifies for subsidies if a KfW55 standard is desired.Definitely.
I was more inclined to try to remove this item from the contract and replace it with the usual wording "to be carried out by the builder." That way, the company can still say they undergo inspections, but I have the security of being the direct client, which ensures objectivity (of course, then it won’t be TÜV).
Best regards,
Sebastian
The builder's warranty advertises a 5-step inspection by TÜV. This is probably more than just a final building acceptance. Whether it is as comprehensive as a construction supervision service commissioned by the homeowner remains questionable.
In principle, or at least it seems that way, this reflects well on the builder.
@ Robson: I just found the edit button on Tapatalk. I promise to improve.

I have already looked around there a bit. But the results are somehow quite sparse. Then feed Aunt Gurgle with the following phrase "Independent Expert Münsterland" and you will find plenty of entries. From private providers to expert directories or expert navigation services from the Chamber of Crafts Münster, up to the well-known associations. However, you will need to check yourself if any of them offer what you are looking for 😉
