Hello everyone,
I originally planned to include a lot of home automation in my house build, but the need for a pile foundation has, among other things, taken away that possibility.
However, there is one thing I still want to include: a motorized lock with a fingerprint scanner.
For the lock, it will probably be the CESeasy, but I’m still unsure about the scanner.
Ideally, it would have a doorbell button integrated. While such products can be found online, they mostly come from small sellers on platforms like eBay and nothing well-known. The reputable companies usually include a camera as well, which I don’t need.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a quality fingerprint scanner with a doorbell button?
Thanks

You also have to be careful with the lock—how does it open? For me, I can simply press the handle from the inside and the door opens. In other setups, you have to press a button inside first. That wouldn’t have been acceptable. I have never encountered anything like that in residential construction over many years. It would also be quite foolish when considering escape routes.
