B.Baumeister3 Jul 2019 21:33Hello everyone,
I originally planned to include a lot of home automation in my house build, but the need for a pile foundation has, among other things, taken away that possibility.
However, there is one thing I still want to include: a motorized lock with a fingerprint scanner.
For the lock, it will probably be the CESeasy, but I’m still unsure about the scanner.
Ideally, it would have a doorbell button integrated. While such products can be found online, they mostly come from small sellers on platforms like eBay and nothing well-known. The reputable companies usually include a camera as well, which I don’t need.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a quality fingerprint scanner with a doorbell button?
Thanks

I have the FUHR lock as well as the FUHR motorized lock. No camera is needed, and no additional control system has to be installed. Everything is integrated into the door.
You also have to pay attention to how the lock opens. In my case, I can simply press the handle from the inside, and the door opens. With other solutions, you have to press a switch inside first. That would not have been acceptable.
When I close the door, the lock always engages automatically.
FUHR also offers roller latch contacts.
