Hello,
I am currently planning a PC desk that I would like to build.
However, I have a few questions regarding its stability.
Specifically, my plan looks like this—unfortunately, the pictures are no longer available.
The desk on the left is a Linnmon 150x75cm (59x30 inches) with two ALEX drawer units and one ALEX top unit.
At the window, there is a Linnmon 200x60cm (79x24 inches) supported by five simple ADILS legs, although the fifth leg is not shown in the drawing. It is located roughly halfway at 1 meter (3.3 feet) and will support the desk in the middle.
The red circles indicate holes with a diameter of 6cm (2.4 inches), drilled using a hole saw.
The green circle is also a 6cm (2.4 inches) hole; the color has no specific meaning.
My question is: Will this setup still be stable enough?
I have seen videos where drilling through a Linnmon surface does not seem to cause any problems:
