ᐅ Is parquet flooring with a fold-down installation method not suitable for gluing?

Good morning everyone,

We have a new build that we hope to move into in September, if everything goes well. Unfortunately, we still need to decide on the flooring. We would like to have parquet installed in the living and dining rooms. Since we have underfloor heating, my husband prefers it to be glued down. Yesterday, we went to a home improvement store and found a parquet that we liked, which is even in stock (which is quite rare at the moment). However, the salesperson said that this parquet, due to its "fold-down" installation method, is not suitable for gluing.

Our flooring installer is on vacation, and we are a bit unsure. Can anyone tell us if parquet with this "fold-down" installation method really cannot be glued down and must be installed as a floating floor instead?

Thanks for your answers!

My question now to "Benutzer200":
If the seller clearly states that the parquet floor selected by "Fritzle" is not suitable for gluing, why do you, contrary to the acquaintance’s statement, say that the home improvement store recommends LUGATO adhesives for its private labels, and that this general note is apparently (contrary to the store advisor’s statements) an indication that the chosen parquet can actually be glued?
@Benutzer200:
In this forum, only answers that are serious, useful to the person asking the question, consistent, and do not lead them into an obvious trap should be provided!

Because it is stated in the product description for the parquet: recommended accessory for gluing ==> Lugato adhesive
@KlaRa: The person asking the question could have figured this out by reading carefully as well.

The original poster linked the parquet at the beginning. @Benutzer200 must have seen that.

Yep, that’s exactly why I was able to quickly check and provide the answer.
