I find stucco ceilings so beautiful, but I have only seen them in very old houses and apartments so far. Is it still possible to have something like this made today? Are there still plasterers who are skilled at this and willing to do it?

Stucco ceilings are really beautiful! As far as I know, they are still made today, although very rarely. Above all, you should make sure that the plasterer has a lot of experience and ask to see samples of their work!

Hello! If I find someone who is still trained in this, I will definitely ask for work samples beforehand! Thanks for the responses!
-Do you happen to know where to look for a plasterer? Is there an association or something like that?

Hello! Yes, there is actually an association – the German Stucco Trade Association. You can probably find it online. Maybe it would be worth contacting them to ask which masons work in this field?

Hello again! I found another association – the professional association of plasterers for interior finishing and façades (SAF) – based in Stuttgart. I’m not sure where the best place to inquire is, but if they can’t provide any information, you might want to check with the others as well.
