Hello everyone,
we are currently wondering whether a carport is considered an outbuilding. In other words, if a carport also falls under Section 6 of our zoning plan regulations.
This raises the question of whether it is possible to build the carport outside the designated building area (buildable zones).
Attached is an excerpt from the zoning plan.
Perhaps someone can provide a definite answer.
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Specki

Bavaria and Saxony are both free states, and garages are also considered ancillary buildings, typically not intended for habitation and benefiting from boundary privileges.

So there is a possibility that the carport could also be built outside the designated building area (buildable surfaces). No, unless your authorized building official can provide valid reasons for an exemption from the requirements of the development plan (§31 Building Code).
