Hello everyone,

Here is the situation: our property is covered with grass mixed with weeds, so I am considering plowing everything and reseeding.

In this context, it would also make sense to install irrigation and boundary wires for the robot mower at the same time.

I experimented a bit with the DVS planner and this is what I came up with.

The blue areas represent old hedges and bushes, which can get wet but do not require separate irrigation.

Does this make sense, or is it complete nonsense?

There is a cistern near the water tap, which I would use as the water source.

The slope from the bottom to the top of the plan is about 3m (10 feet).

Best regards,
Harv

Robotic lawn mowers on slopes are not without challenges. The tilt sensors often cause the mower to shut down if there is not enough margin taken into account. This regularly means that you need to choose a model that is 1–2 classes larger.

Yes, I have already read that as well. I would probably lean towards something like the Husqvarna 430X.
What worries me more is the narrow passage on the left side of the plan.

Cover the narrow area with strip sprinklers. How narrow are the driveways?

Thank you, I only found and planned this later in the app!
The dry area in the upper right is not an issue since a seating area is planned there in the medium term.

The slope on the right side of the house is 33 degrees, and on the left side it is 35 degrees.

The minimum clearance width is 1 meter (3.3 feet), including a 16 cm (6.3 inches) mowing edge on each side.
