Hello everyone,
I would like to install a water connection from the bathroom to the adjacent room in our apartment.
The water connection will be used about twice a week for washing hair, approximately 5 minutes each time.
I was thinking of using a T-fitting and installing a valve to shut off the water. I plan to run the pipe using 2-meter (6.5 feet) flexible hoses, connected and sealed with hemp fiber and so on. A cable conduit will be used to keep everything stable.
What do you think about this setup? Do you think it can work the way I envision it?
Thank you in advance 🙂
Best regards,
Kevkev929

I would appreciate it if the next answers relate to my question. Welcome to the internet! You neither get the answer you hoped for nor will the answer match the question! (A Usenet saying that is also true in web forums.)

Instead of hemp, I recommend Teflon sealing tape, which is much easier to handle for laypeople (I am one, you may not be). IMHO.

Kevkev9299 Feb 2017 15:27Thank you very much for your replies. Teflon tape sounds great; I will use it that way 🙂 Yes, I drilled holes with a 24mm (1 inch) drill bit, so moisture will not be transferred, as I plan to fill the holes again with filler.
