Hello everyone,
we are currently building and are almost finished. Unfortunately, it occurred to us late that we still want partitions in the showers. Our site manager said it is too late for that and such partitions cannot be installed afterwards because the bathroom has already been tiled and otherwise the waterproofing would not hold properly.
I am not an expert and wanted to ask if this is true. We do not want glass enclosures.
Thank you very much

I do understand the appeal of glass because it is a durable, 100% waterproof material, but cleaning it would be a hassle for me. Every time after showering, there are marks on the glass, and either it looks unkempt or you have to put in work to clean it.
I have granite walls as a shower partition, with a curtain in between that sits on the floor, so it doesn’t wrap around the calves. I really appreciate having no maintenance effort in this area and find our solution excellent.

I take care of it every few years when it becomes visible.
My respect for the care with the glass walls that thousands of people have dealt with over the years, given how popular glass walls in showers are...
