I am planning to install an XL/XXL dishwasher from Bosch or Siemens with a height of 86.5cm (34 inches) in my IKEA kitchen.

How is it on the side of a tall cabinet that has a cover panel?
At the front, the toe kick on base cabinets is set slightly back, but what about on the side of a tall or base cabinet with a cover panel? Would a 1cm (0.4 inch) gap be immediately noticeable there?
