I am planning to install an XL/XXL dishwasher from Bosch or Siemens with a height of 86.5cm (34 inches) in my IKEA kitchen.
Will this height work?
Has anyone had experience with an IKEA kitchen and an XL dishwasher from B or S?

Best regards, dani_7359

What do you think about simply taking a meter stick, or having the dishwasher’s dimensions sent to you and asking at IKEA? Or go there yourself and measure it… A bit more effort but definitely more reliable, right?

Hej,

If you are planning, you also know that base cabinets are 70cm (27.5 inches) high. Adjustable 16mm (0.6 inch) legs (adjustable from 14.5cm to 18.5cm (5.7 to 7.3 inches)) go underneath, add the measurements, compare with the appliance, ........... 😉
Choose the correct size for the front panel, notch out the plinth, ........... done!

Thanks for the tip about the meter stick...
The device is 86.5cm (34 inches), but the base is height-adjustable – however, could there be an issue if the skirting board is 16cm (6.3 inches) and I need a base that must be at least 16.5cm (6.5 inches)?

Hello
I know this thread is a bit old, but I am currently dealing with installing an extra-large dishwasher in an Ikea kitchen (minimum cabinet height 70.5cm (28 inches)).
It looks like it fails by 0.5cm (0.2 inches)!!!
So my question is:
If I set the kitchen legs to 17cm (7 inches) and raise the entire kitchen by 1cm (0.4 inches), but still install 16cm (6.3 inches) toe kicks on the legs, will the 1cm (0.4 inches) gap at the toe kick be visible, or will it be hidden by the bottom edge of the base cabinets?
Will there be any issues with other tall or base cabinets if I set all the legs to 17cm (7 inches)?
Best regards

..., would the 1cm (0.4 inch) gap at the baseboard be visible ...?

That depends on the angle from which you view the skirting board.
