Hi IKEA friends,
Over the weekend, I went shopping at IKEA again with a friend. I had seen in a TV commercial that the shelves from the Expedit series were on sale. So, I jumped into the weekend rush full of families and couples. When I got to the item I wanted, it was only available in two colors: black and white. What now? Normally, the shelf I wanted costs 59.00 euros, but on sale, it was only 39.00 euros. I originally wanted one in birch, but they were all gone, and the same for walnut.
So I had to decide—either white or black, although I ruled out black because dust would probably show more. So white was the only option left, and I thought, since I had already driven 60 km (37 miles), I might as well take the Expedit shelf and save 20 euros.
Today, I’m going to assemble it and see how it fits with my other furniture. What do you do when you really want a piece of furniture, it’s on sale, but no longer available in the color you want? Take it anyway or leave it?

That’s true, the missing furniture is being restocked. It’s a popular item, especially when the Expedit shelves sell out so quickly.
I just didn’t want to wait and wanted to have it immediately. So I had to act spontaneously, and as you can see, buying the Expedit in white was a great decision.

That's true, the missing furniture items get restocked. They're just highly sought after when the Expedit shelves sell out so quickly.

Hello troy,
Don’t be sad. Ikea frequently has great promotions, and even without the discount, the Expedit is an excellent choice. Take a look at the extraordinary Tuesday offers; I have a preview sheet. On 04.08.09, the IDBYN shelf will be on sale.I’ll check it out.ps: I heard "extraordinary Tuesday" is now called "WANT-TO-HAVE week."

After all, Troy is sitting right at the source – aren’t you, Troy? 🙂
