Hello everyone, I recently bought an IKEA Besta furniture set and would like to know about safe methods to secure the BESTA against tipping over. Since I have small children at home, stability is very important to me. I am aware of the included wall anchors but am unsure if these alone are sufficient or if additional measures are advisable. Does anyone have practical tips or experience on how to fasten the BESTA so that it stands securely and won’t tip over? Are there specific brackets, screws, or other techniques you would recommend? Thanks in advance!

Place the Besta so that it is not in high-traffic areas and cannot be subjected to leverage. For extra stability on uneven floors, additional fixation on the underside can be helpful. Sometimes non-slip rubber pads under the feet are also effective—they reduce tipping caused by minor bumps. For taller furniture, attaching angle brackets between the wall and the unit is a recommended safety measure.
