Hi,

We are looking for tips or suggestions for the ceiling lighting in our bathroom. The bathroom planner included a suspended ceiling with recessed spotlights in the visualization. We don’t want that, partly because we don’t want to reduce our ceiling height of 275cm (9 feet). Of course, we can define additional ceiling light points in the electrical plan for the electrician. What would you do? For example, I once saw a bathroom light from a well-known smart lighting system brand that allows you to switch between warm and cool white light.

Good luck
Maria

Always keep ambient lighting separate from functional lighting. Not every ambient light needs a wall switch. Sometimes, a floor lamp with local controls is placed next to seating areas – this works both for creating a cozy atmosphere and for reading.

I find spotlights quite suitable for the bathroom.
Because of the small ceiling height, I wouldn’t rule them out; after all, no one really notices a few centimeters (inches) afterwards.
