I recently assembled several pieces of furniture from the Ikea Brimnes series, mainly wardrobes and dressers. I noticed that some parts needed minor adjustments after a few weeks because doors no longer closed smoothly or drawers didn’t slide as easily.
My specific question is: How often do Ikea Brimnes furniture pieces typically need readjustment before they settle properly? Are there particular areas to pay special attention to in order to ensure long-term stability and functionality?

And yes, check them from time to time — but it’s usually not much. You might even come to see the occasional readjustment as a little ritual, like a mini maintenance for your furniture 😄.
