Hello,
we just received a quote from the landscaping contractor for paving work and find it quite expensive. The base is already prepared at the correct height, with crushed stone laid and compacted. So, only the bedding layer (grit), the paving stones, and the installation work remain.
They want 90 euros per square meter (without the concrete paving stones), plus edging stones for 45 euros per linear meter (including the edging stones) and cutting work for 21 euros per linear meter. Is this pricing currently normal? Or could it possibly be cheaper (Rhine-Main area)?
Best regards,
Sabine

Okay, where you have the curb, the workers poured a concrete shoulder support. It holds.I also don’t have any curbs.
Only the eaves edge.
However, it is standard practice to install curbs.
