Hello,
we just received a quote from the landscaping contractor for paving work and find it quite expensive. The base is already prepared at the correct height, with crushed stone laid and compacted. So, only the bedding layer (grit), the paving stones, and the installation work remain.
They want 90 euros per square meter (without the concrete paving stones), plus edging stones for 45 euros per linear meter (including the edging stones) and cutting work for 21 euros per linear meter. Is this pricing currently normal? Or could it possibly be cheaper (Rhine-Main area)?
Best regards,
Sabine

Curbstones? What is that? This is what it looks like. I just quoted the invoice, it doesn’t break down further.
Good price.
Curbstones are basically curbs. I’ve attached a photo.
My father is self-employed in this field and charges between 40€-50€ as labor. Material costs are additional. At the moment, he can almost roll the dice with prices. Sometimes he sells labor for up to 80€ per hour if it needs to be done quickly.
It really pays off to compare prices or to do some of the work yourself.
