Hello everyone,
I am planning to transport furniture from the IKEA Brimnes series soon and want to make sure the pieces do not get damaged. My question to the community is: How can I safely transport IKEA Brimnes furniture, especially larger items like the bed frame or the wardrobe?
I am particularly interested in which materials or aids have proven useful (e.g., protective films, blankets, special straps) and if there are any helpful tips for securing and loading the furniture properly in the vehicle.
I have also heard that screws should not necessarily be fully loosened, and I am uncertain whether it is safer to transport the furniture assembled or disassembled.
I would be very grateful for any helpful advice or experience shared!

Does anyone else have recommendations on how to securely transport larger parts in a station wagon or small van? Also place the parts flat or upright, but always secured with straps. If the load shifts, it poses a risk to both the furniture and people. Avoid stacking whenever possible – too much weight can cause deformation.
