I recently installed Pax glass doors from Ikea in my apartment and want to take proper care of and clean them without damaging the surfaces or the glass. Since these are glass front panels, I’m unsure whether regular glass cleaners or special products are better suited. I also want to avoid damaging the frames or seals.
Does anyone have experience cleaning Ikea Pax glass fronts? Which products and methods do you recommend? Are there any particular precautions I should take to keep the glass doors looking shiny and to prevent streaks or scratches?

These can cause microscopic scratches.

Never spray directly onto the glass; always spray onto a microfiber cloth first. This way, you avoid the cleaner running onto the frames.I also think that makes a lot of sense. Spraying onto the cloth allows for much better control during cleaning.
Think of it as a gentle maintenance routine:
- Dust off with a dry microfiber cloth
- Damp cleaning with a mild cleaner applied on the cloth
- Final polish with a dry cloth
This method helps keep Pax glass fronts free of damage over the long term.
