I recently installed a URail track system from Paulmann on my ceiling. It consists of three tracks, each connected with an angled connector. I had to slightly shorten two of the tracks.
The track system is mounted below a hollow drywall ceiling using the fixed 23mm (0.9 inch) track hangers from URail.
In the tracks, I have installed the Paulmann cover spots, each equipped with a GU10 bulb from Hue.
Unfortunately, one of the tracks buzzes during operation. This does not affect the lighting itself.
I suspect some kind of mechanical vibration or a loose connection because: when I gently move the track, the buzzing stops. But as soon as I let go and it returns to its normal position, the buzzing usually comes back. Sometimes it also stops on its own and then returns later.
I have already tightened and checked all the screws.
Does anyone have an idea which part of the track could be causing this buzzing? That way, I could focus my search and take countermeasures more effectively.
As mentioned: the buzzing stops if I apply slight pressure to the lamp to twist the track outward or inward. Also, a gentle tap at the end often silences the buzzing for a while.
