Hello everyone, I am currently planning the design of my new kitchen with Ikea Metod, but unfortunately have very limited space available. My main question is: How can Ikea Metod kitchens be effectively designed in small spaces without sacrificing functionality and storage? I am especially interested in how to plan the layout to make the most of the work surfaces and which cabinet types or accessories work best to keep small kitchens practical. If anyone has experience with very tight kitchen spaces, I would appreciate tips on clever solutions or example setups.
Hey ennobu31, I find this topic really interesting! I created a very small kitchen myself using Metod and can only encourage you – there are so many smart solutions! 😊 My tip: use narrow pull-outs for spices and bottles; they fit into any gap and are super practical!
I also installed open shelves above the countertop, which creates a sense of space and gives easy access to everything. Make use of every corner possible!
