Hello everyone, I recently purchased some IKEA BESTÅ units and now want to creatively design the doors. I am especially interested in how to work with paint and patterns to create truly unique and appealing surfaces. I am considering various techniques, such as painting with acrylic paints, applying stencil patterns, or even using wallpaper as a covering. Are there any tips on suitable paints or specific methods that work particularly well for the plastic or wood fiber boards of the BESTÅ doors? Additionally, it would be great if anyone has experience with the durability and ease of cleaning of such customizations. How can one avoid issues like visible wear or paint peeling?
