Hello everyone,
I recently ordered the IKEA Brimnes bedroom set and am now wondering how to best plan the assembly. Since the furniture set includes several individual pieces and some rather large components, I want to approach this as systematically as possible to avoid mistakes or unnecessary delays.
I’m considering whether I should first sort all the parts and then perhaps start with the individual components or modules – maybe the bed first and then the dressers? Are there any specific tips regarding the order of assembly, especially concerning stability and ergonomics?
I’m also curious if it’s better to assemble it alone or with a partner, and which tools are recommended to have on hand besides the usual Allen key included in the set.
I’d really appreciate detailed advice and experiences on how to plan and carry out the assembly as efficiently and stress-free as possible.

Why not just ask someone who can help out?Exactly, your reasoning is convincing! In the end, I will probably look for someone to assist with at least the more difficult parts. I have also considered creating some sort of "step-by-step checklist" that we can tick off during assembly to avoid mistakes.
It would be great if someone had such a checklist available or tips on which points should definitely be included.
Thanks again to everyone who has been so helpful so far – I’m impressed by your level of detail and clarity, which really helps with the planning!
