Hello everyone,

I want to mount my Ikea Metod wall cabinets on a solid wall, but I’m not yet fully familiar with the correct procedure. My walls are made of solid concrete, and I want to make sure the cabinets are firmly and safely secured, especially considering the weight when they are fully loaded. Which anchors or screws are best suited for this type of wall? Are there any specific installation guidelines for securely attaching Metod wall cabinets to solid concrete walls?

Hey everyone,

just a quick reminder: When installing the wall cabinets, be careful not to tighten the screws too much, as this might damage the anchors! 😅

And while you’re at it – the mounting rail can be easily covered after hanging with a trim panel or the first cabinet, which looks much better visually! 💡
