Hi,
this is really fascinating. It’s incredible what people in ancient times were capable of, and all without excavators or cranes... or... it’s simply amazing. Even today, we don’t fully understand how they managed to build, for example, the pyramids. When you look at all these ancient structures that still stand, you wonder what progress has really brought us in terms of innovation. Sure, machines and so on save time and labor, but purely from an architectural standpoint, ancient people were definitely not inferior.
Best regards,

Hello!
Archaeology has not definitively proven whether the Hanging Gardens of Babylon actually existed. They might simply be a creation of human imagination. And when stories are passed down for a long time, they eventually become "true"—at least in people’s minds. There are no written records from that time confirming the existence of the Hanging Gardens. It was only during the Roman era, long after Babylon had been destroyed, that a poet described the Hanging Gardens.
But I don’t want to spoil this idea either. After all, the Gardens were considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. So there must be some truth to it, in my opinion. 😉
Best regards,

Hi onetwofour!
Well... the Hanging Gardens of Babylon probably wouldn’t fit in your garden... *grin*
But your idea sounds really exciting! I just don’t have a clue how to make something like that happen. I think you’d almost have to consult an architect...
