At what height have you installed your sanitary fixtures? Specifically, the washbasin and the toilet bowl. Possibly also the mirrored cabinet. And how tall are the people using them?

Our washbasin is currently installed at 85cm (33.5 inches), and I find this rather low for a height of about 176cm (5 feet 9 inches).

I’m also interested in this.
We will be installing our washbasins soon, and I think a height of 90cm (35 inches) would probably be better for tall people. (I’m 1.85m (6 ft 1 in))
Is it uncommon to go any higher?

We have the bathroom vanity top set at 92 cm (36 inches). This works well for me (>1.90 m / 6 ft 3 in) and my wife (<1.70 m / 5 ft 7 in). A lower height wouldn’t bother my wife, but it would be uncomfortable for me.

The toilet is installed with the top of the ceramic at 45 cm (18 inches), which is 5 cm (2 inches) higher than the standard guidelines recommend. This height is very comfortable, especially for shorter and older people. The only downside is for small children, but they need a step stool anyway to use toilets at the standard height.

90 cm (35 inches) is a commonly used standard height in public buildings.

For self-built homes, 50% of the height of the shortest regular user (if fully grown) is a good guideline.

For toilets, however, we have "reduced" the often assumed seat height of 40 to 42 cm (16 to 17 inches) to 38 cm (15 inches) as this better aligns with the anatomy of the human colon → Google "squatty potty".

Our sink has a front edge length of 95cm (37 inches) – perfect for us (1.81 & 1.98 meters).
