ᐅ Height difference between garage and front door

Hello everyone,

I currently have the following question.

We would like to design our front door without a step leading to the driveway. The problem is that the garage can only be built in a way that results in a height difference of 30 cm (12 inches) between the garage and the front door over a length of 1.58 meters (5.2 feet).

Now my question is: would it work to slope the driveway to the garage by 30 cm (12 inches) over the 1.58 meters (5.2 feet)? Or would this cause problems when driving in or out?

Or is having a step into the house perhaps the better solution?

Maybe the sketch will help in forming an opinion.

I would appreciate any feedback.

An E-Class is a family sedan, lowered subtly by about 2 cm (1 inch) as a Sportline model. Dropping thirty centimeters (12 inches) deep into a dip over a length of one point four meters (4.6 feet) would be called "turbulence" even by a commercial pilot.
