As far as I have found so far, there are two companies that offer liquid linoleum: "Liquiddesign" and "Corques Liquid Lino." Ecology is important to me. Both are said to be made from "natural materials" such as cork and biopolymers.
Two advantages of liquid linoleum are, first, that it is seamless, and second, that it is easy to work with for "regular tradespeople." Sheet linoleum is not easy to install, and if the installer is not highly skilled, the result can have "corresponding weak points."
Has anyone already installed or applied this?

Didn't @rick2018 also have some kind of "liquid" installation done?

@Mellina
It's nice to read that it has proven effective so far. One year isn’t exactly a long-term test yet, but it’s something.
What I’m wondering is: the surface (the two-component coating applied last)… what exactly is that?
It must be both hard (to resist abrasion) and flexible (because linoleum can flex).
How is it treated during cleaning? Is it a wax, like with regular linoleum?
And: did you have a tradesperson who had done this before?
Wolfgang would be very interested in this 🙂

also very low-maintenanceI’m quoting you again to try and get your attention, Mellina. 😎 What is the recommended maintenance method?
Is it probably a surface chemical that’s added directly to the cleaning water?
Wax, involving application and buffing 😱, that can’t be it, right?
@manohora Sorry, I was in the mountains... So, I usually just use water, I have a robot mop that cleans them, and sometimes I also use a mop with some "all-floor cleaning solution." I'm not really into using too many chemicals;)
Regarding the question of how it was installed, I unfortunately can't say much. First, it was poured, and then sealed by the craftsman/specialist/professional one or two days later.

I have a floor-cleaning robot, 🤨Which one? Are you satisfied? From what I’ve read, there isn’t a really good one... but real-life use is different from tests by professional reviewers... 😎
