ᐅ Guest Bathroom Layout (3.9 m²) – What Arrangement Works Best?

Good day!
We are currently planning our house and are uncertain about how to arrange our small guest bathroom on the ground floor. I have sketched an initial idea but am unsure if it is the best solution.

The space needs to include:
- Washbasin with storage
- Toilet
- Shower (for guests, dog, possibly a "mudroom" function for children; so not used daily!)

Since we are still in the planning phase, the window on this wall can still be moved. The door should stay in its current position.

Do you have any tips for the layout?
Thank you very much.

There are often unrealistic expectations for what a small guest bathroom has to accommodate. The pantry is bigger?

It may not be daily use of the shower, but the toilet and sink are used several times a day, right?!

You need to enter, turn around, your elbows shouldn’t scrape the walls, your head shouldn’t hit the sink edge, and when showering occasionally, you also want to be able to undress, get dressed, maybe blow-dry your hair in that bathroom?

The only good thing: the dog can’t run far.

There aren’t many options. Also, these are rough structural dimensions—plaster and tiles will be added later.

My suggestion is to narrow the door by 12cm (5 inches).

Floor plan of a bathroom with bathtub, toilet, and sink; area 3.9 m² (42 sq ft).

Oh, and the sink can be installed without a built-out wall if the water pipes are installed inside the partition wall.
