Hello everyone,
I need your help and hope you can assist^^
Here’s the situation: we have a well about 12 meters deep (39 feet), with a deep well pump DAB CS4C-9M.
In the basement, there is a 4A motor protection switch and a Condor MDR 5/5 pressure switch as well as a pressure tank.
When I turn on the water, the pressure switch turns the pump off as it should. If I then immediately turn the water off again, the pressure switch also turns the pump off. This part is working correctly.
The pressure gauge shows 3 bar (44 psi) when water is being drawn, and 3.2 bar (46 psi) when no water is running.
However, if the water runs for a longer time, the pressure switch switches the pump off randomly—sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes after 30 minutes, sometimes even after 5 minutes. The pressure then drops to 0 bar (0 psi), but the pressure switch does not turn the pump back on even though the cut-in pressure is 1.6 bar (23 psi). If the motor protection switch is turned off and on again, pressure immediately builds up and water is pumped again.
