There is a general rule of thumb that the area where the ground collectors are installed should be about 1.5 to 2 times larger than the living space to be heated.
Now, there is a provider (N ibe) that manages to do this with about one-third of that area. Unfortunately, this provider is not available in our region.
Does anyone know of other similar concepts or companies?

Good luck with the installation 🙂
Aren’t there different suppliers, like with ground source heat pumps, boreholes ...? Or where/how do you buy your system?

Ring trench collector brand?
That’s not really a brand but more of a system.

Oh, I see. I ordered everything – the pipe, the SBK manifold, and the brine mixture – from Muggenhumer in Austria.
There are definitely cheaper suppliers, and you can probably buy just the brine concentrate and mix it yourself with water.
But I would recommend browsing through the htd forum.
I have already installed the trench collector loop. I just need to connect the manifold and fill it with brine.
The htd forum also has several reports from “self-installers” (including mine).
