I am planning to install the floor myself in our newly built semi-detached house. I will be using the Meister Allround DD700s.
At the inspection appointment, I took a closer look at how the floor connects to the terrace front in the living room and realized that, unfortunately, I can’t simply place two edge profiles flush along the 4-meter (13 feet) window front as I had planned. I noticed that the window front on both sides of the patio door slightly protrudes, so I can’t just lay the edge profiles flush against the windows.
I am now considering working the profiles around this and cutting them at a miter, but the space for that is quite limited. Alternatively, I thought I might cut the edge profile at the points where the "protrusion" occurs.
I’m a bit unsure about this and haven’t been able to find any pictures of similar situations to guide me. Do you have any ideas or tips on how to solve this?
