Hello everyone, since our paving will be finished soon, we are now looking for a garden shed. OBI offers one for 1392... I’m a bit confused.
Are there any brands you would recommend, or does it not really matter?

We ended up choosing the garden sheds Emma and Viborg... the quality is definitely at the lowest level – unfortunately, the kids really wanted Emma, and after that nothing else fit anymore... oh well.
We’re now painting both in dove blue and light gray (accent) – the roof will be covered with self-adhesive foil with an aluminum layer. In the end, the accessories (stain, paint, roofing) cost almost more than the sheds themselves.
Additionally, we bought a few palisade elements... that was another 500 €.
A note to future builders: just plan for at least an extra 5,000 € for stuff after construction.

To future builders: just plan for at least an additional 5,000 euros for stuff after the construction. What is supposed to be included in the 5,000 euros and for what? Because after the build, we are already over 20,000 euros, depending on what you include.
Lawnmower, wet vacuum cleaner, garden sheds, outdoor table and bench, lamps, networking equipment, exterior lights, cables, iron and ironing board, exercise equipment, kitchen blender, wooden hobby horses, go-kart... Not everything is directly for the house, but these are things that naturally come up once you have a garden and a house.
New tires, underwear, and shampoo are also not included yet...
There is certainly quite a bit of household goods that are needed more in a house than in a previous rented apartment. However, one should keep things in perspective. Life in a house definitely does not become cheaper.

Depending on the situation, you may already have quite a few items, while others you don’t. However, many of these won’t disappear and can be purchased little by little. Such costs should not be included in the financing. Depending on the amount of remaining contingency at the end, there will be more or less available.
