We are currently working on the energy-efficient renovation of our house, including interior insulation, windows, and heating. We are heating with oil, which I would like to change. The heat loss will be significantly reduced, leading to a lower heating demand.

We are not yet sure which type of heating system to choose and feel a bit overwhelmed. We will probably consult an energy advisor and want to prepare for the discussion. Does anyone here have a heat pump in their house? How is it—are they noisy, and do they work reliably in the coldest winter months?

Heat pump Sixmadun SMS-XP-6TU by Tobler.

Yes, I am familiar with this heat pump and am very satisfied with it. I can set my supply temperature up to 75 degrees Celsius (167°F). I have a pump of the universal design, which allows us to combine different heating systems such as underfloor heating and wood boilers.
