We want to find out if these are connected to our meter.
What is the best way to do this?

- Why on earth did you cover the meter label? Am I supposed to guess it says "DWS76xx.xx"? How are you supposed to find the user manual like that??? Come on...
- At least you can say that the blinking on the arrow is irrelevant — what matters for you is the blinking of the LED in the center, next to "10000 Imp/kWh."
Because this is the simplest and most reliable indication: if it blinks, power is being drawn — if it stays solidly lit, there is no load.
Now look and report back. In situations like this, I always use my phone and have my wife act as a switch up at the distribution board...
